Elizabeth Landers and Vicky Mainzer met during the 1980s as co-chairs for San Francisco University High School’s Decorator Showcase fundraiser.

Elizabeth has been the general manager of the San Francisco Daily Journal, a stockbroker, a banker, the president of San Francisco Hadassah, and a full-time mother. Today, she lives in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and New York City.

Vicky has been a nurse, an event planner, a hospital director of volunteers, and a full-time mother. A community service leader, she was recently named a Brightest Star of Idaho by Governor Kempthorne. She now resides in her hometown of Pocatello, Idaho.

Since April 2005, Elizabeth and Vicky have been spreading the word about THE SCRIPT through personal appearances at bookstores and before various community groups. Their book has been featured on nearly 100 television and radio shows including Oprah and The Today Show. Publications as diverse as The New York Post, The Denver Post, The Detroit News, and Playgirl have written about it.

“Helping women recognize the warning signs of ‘The Script,’ and showing them that they can change the situation before it’s too late, has been extremely gratifying,” the authors explain. “It is our hope that this book will save as many marriages as possible, since there is nothing more important than a warm and caring relationship.”
